Compare bikes and rental rates Ask about your tripWhat do you need to rent a motorbike?
Under Alquiler's rental terms, you must be at least 21 years old and present a valid motorcycle licence for the engine class you want to rent, plus a government-issued photo ID such as your IC or passport.
Visiting Malaysia from overseas? Contact us before paying to confirm which documents are accepted for your licence's issuing country and the bike you have chosen. Do not assume a car licence or passport alone qualifies you to ride a motorcycle. Bring your original documents for verification at collection.
When you enquire, tell us your rental dates, preferred model, licence category and issuing country. Keep identity documents private; do not post them in public reviews or comments.
Automatic scooter or manual motorcycle?
Automatic scooters
Compare the Modenas Karisma, SYM Jet 14 and Honda PCX in our automatic rental range. Read each model's specifications and choose a bike you are already comfortable controlling.
Manual and sport motorcycles
Our manual motorcycle range includes everyday and larger-capacity models. Match the engine class and controls to your licence and experience; a more powerful motorcycle is not automatically a better choice for a city visit.
Travelling with luggage? Ask about storage and the space on your chosen model before arriving. Review helmets, rainwear and other rental gear separately; confirm the fit and the items included in your rental agreement.
How much does motorbike rental in KL cost?
The rental catalogue lists model prices. Motorcycle rates are daily; accessories can be priced per day or per order, as marked on their pages. Select your actual dates to see the applicable duration pricing, then review extras and the final checkout amount before paying.
For a weekly commute or a monthly stay, compare the total for your full rental period, not just one day's rate. Availability depends on the selected dates.
Mileage and other costs to check
The standard allowance in our terms is 200 km per rental day. Excess mileage is RM0.50โRM1.00 per km depending on the model and engine class, with the rate communicated at rental. If you need more mileage, ask about the premium tier at collection; it is not an online add-on.
Confirm any deposit, fuel/return requirements, late-return charges and protection terms with the team before committing. Read the agreement for your responsibilities and exclusions; do not assume every cost or risk is included in the displayed daily rate.
